FAQ3DScanner3D-Scanner REVSCAN from CREAFORM

We use the REVscan 3D scanner from CREAFORM for the digitization of a component and for reverse engineering.

CREAFORM is one of the leading companies in 3D scanning and portable 3D measurement technologies.

Unlike other providers, the REVscan allows us to scan within an unlimited working radius. For this purpose, so-called digits are either glued onto the object to be scanned or onto the base on which the object is placed. These digits are then recorded by our 3D scanner. The laser and the scanner's cameras create a 3D point cloud of the scanned object, which can then be further processed.

Here are some technical data about our 3D scanner:

  • Weight: 980 gram
  • Dimensions: 160 x 260 x 210 mm
  • Measuring rate: 18.000 measurements/s
  • Laser class: II (not dangerous for the eye)
  • Resolution: 0,100 mm
  • Accuray: up to 0,050 mm
  • Volumetric accuracy: 0,020 mm + 0,200 mm/m

If you also need a 3D scan of a component or would like to get a non-binding offer first, please look HERE.
