3D-printer FAQ
Our 3D printer is the Pharao XD40 model from the Lithuanian manufacturer MASSPORTAL.
The 3D printer is designed in the delta construction method. This means that the print head is suspended on 3 axes, which move independently only up and down. This allows the 3D printer to calibrate itself and also to be positioned very accurately in the Z-axis.
As filament, i.e. as material for 3D printing, any filament can be used which has a diameter of 1.75 mm and melts up to 300° Celsius.
We mainly use a PLA filament as well as a flexible filament, which enables us to even produce suction or pressure hoses as samples.
Due to the size of the MASSPORTAL Pharao XD40 we can print components up to a cylindrical size of 40cm diameter and a height of 40cm.
But even small components can be printed with amazing precision thanks to the low-vibration Delta construction.
