HFI air intake open VAG 2.0 T(F)SI EA888 Gen.4 (e.g. Golf Mk8 GTI, Leon KL) with approval

This open HF-Series Intake Kit for the Golf mK8 series with EA888 Gen.4 engines is the perfect solution for maximum air flow in combination with a perfect look and approval.
In addition, it gifts you with an intake sound in a class of its own.

It represents a very important component, because only if the entire path to the turbocharger is optimised can the full potential of the turbocharger and engine be made available.

The kit consists of a silicone upgrade intake hose with maximum possible inner diameter (89mm/3.5" on the air filter) and an open polymer sports air filter with conical aluminium funnel and significantly improved airflow, which is protected from engine heat by the supplied shielding plate.
Our measurements at the Flowbench show an impressive increase of +76% and 84% respectively.

There is more than enough reserve here even for large supercharger conversions. The filter element used is an oiled polymer foam filter specially developed by us for the system, which has an 89mm/3.5" connection.

Optionally, you can combine this Intake with our HF-Series Turboinlet, which then also eliminates the last reduction/narrowing point at the supercharger inlet:
(Only needed for the 245hp engines like in the GTI, the 300/320hp engines like in the Clubsport or R have a different inlet due to the different supercharger, which does not need to be improved and already works optimally. We have tested this extensively with 9 trials/prototypes at Flowbench).
