EGO-X catback exhaust system 3,5" VW Golf Mk8 R 320/333HP, Audi S3 8Y 310HP (82dB) incl. registration

This EGO-X exhaust system for the VW Golf Mk8 R and Audi S3 8Y is handmade in our factory in Lübeck. The pipe diameter is 3.5 inches (89mm).

The price includes installation and the Bull-X Tronic ECE control unit and is only available in combination with the performance upgrade Stage 1 (415HP) or Stage 2 (455HP) from HG-Motorsport, because the stationary noise is changed in this course from 82dB to 89dB.
This is the only way to drive a 100% legal exhaust system on the Golf Mk8 R, as even the standard system with both valves closed is already 8-9dB too loud ex works.

That is why we have run a combination certificate in combination with our performance upgrades, which you can also combine 100% legally with all our other hardware parts, such as HF-Series intercoolers, HF-Series intakes, pressure pipes and/or Bull-X ECE downpipes.

With the OEM exhaust system, there is an annoying roar in some speed ranges, which is significantly reduced with our system.
As soon as the valve is closed, the EGO-X exhaust system is quieter and more comfortable than the standard system.
With the valve open, you will experience a sound that conveys the emotions that an R-model needs.

While driving, you can choose whether you want to drive in Comfort or Sport mode. If your vehicle has a driving profile selection, it is possible to control it this way.
For vehicles without driving profile selection, this control can be done via a button that is included in the delivery. The button's LED lighting indicates whether the valve is currently open (light off) or closed (light on).
The control unit closes the valve automatically in all areas required by ECE regulations, regardless of which mode you are driving in.

Generally, the Bull-X Tronic offers two control options:
- Sport mode: Within the approved scope of ECE regulations, the valve is always open. When stationary and in the range of 20-80km/h the valve is always closed.
- Comfort mode: The valve is always closed
