This aluminium pressure pipe from intercooler to throttle valve for all named 1.8-2.0 TSI Euro 4/5 models of the PQ35/1K platform replaces the OEM part made of hard plastic.
The larger pipe diameter of 63mm combined with the flow-optimized design ensures increased air flow.

The OEM part consists of a plastic tube. Under the influence of time, temperature and pressure, the material becomes brittle and cracked. The result is broken connections or burst pressure lines. Not only annoying because of the defect, but rather a great danger for the turbocharger and engine.
