Finally the time has come! Now we can offer you power measurements up to 1000kw per axle and up to a speed of max. 300km/h on our ultramodern and industry certified Single Roller Dynamometer manufactured by MAHA!
Unlike other manufacturers, the measurement on our dyno is legal and recognized by the motor vehicle industry.
Our measurements are therefore not comparable with the simple measurements of other manufacturers.
The driveway to our dynamometer is done without a ramp on a scissor lift, so even extremely deep vehicles can be measured.

Attention:
Winter tyres are not allowed on the dynanometer!
You are welcome to bring your set of summer tyres for the respective achsle (front or rear) or for both axles (4-wheel). We will change them for a surcharge of 25,-- Euro net per axles on site.
Thanks to the latest technology, extremely accurate measurements without slippage and with tyre rolling action as it would be on the road are guaranteed.The MAHA towing power measurement guarantees the highest degree of accuracy when measuring power:
Precision calculation of the parasitic losses of the dynamometer, ofthe vehicle’s drive train and the tyre to roller friction and flex losses.
In addition, MAHA is the accredited manufacturer of vehicle manufacturers, as VW and Audi, in the sense of compliance with series data recognized.
Furthermore, the software we are using is professional and intuitively operable for highest expert demands:
Sensors:
- For the development of products in our company the dynamometer has differential pressure sensors to measure the exhaust back pressure and temperature (e.g. temperature measurement before/ after intercooler).
Measurement screen:
- The measurement screen offers the possibility of a continuous graphic display and recording of up to 16 freely selectable parameters per performance measurement: a high number of recorded parameters helps to discover sources of error and hidden performance potential
- For optimum comparability during calibration work up to three stored cycles can be faded-in on the measurement screen
- Ensuring constant control of key parameters during the performance measurement thanks to two circular dial displays for RPM and speed as well as a current oil temperature display
Simulations:
- Optional load simulation with freely programmable load profile: Due to the eddy current brake gradient and racetrack rides (e.g. like on the Nürburgring) can be simulated.Thus, with our dynamometer it is possible to develop and test products under real conditions.
Evaluation:
- Determination of wheel power, power dissipation, engine
- Standardised extrapolation of motor power in line with DIN 70020, EEC 80/1269, ISO 1585, JIS D 1001 and SAE J 1349 (configuration-dependent)
Technical details:
- Test speeds of up to 300 km/h
- More than 1300 hp power can be measured accurately and with +/- 1% tolerance (up to 1000KW per axle)
- Static power measurement at constant tractive force, RPM and speed
- Tyre rolling action as it would be on the road
- Tyres are preserved as a result of limited flexing action
- Simple restraining mechanism for quick vehicle fixation
- Electronically-controlled synchronisation of the speed of the front and rear roller set for current and future drive concepts with active power distribution
- Roller diameter: 504 mm
Note:
To ensure a safe power measurement, please check up your vehicle for the following aspects before:
- Do not use brand new tyres
- Winter tyres are not allowed
- The tank should be at least half full
