The crankshaft ventilation of an engine serves to burn off its oil steams.
These steams collect in the valve cover and are discharged, on the one hand, into the intake side of the turbocharger and, on the other hand, into the intake manifold.
If the valve is defective, however, it is like a leak in the charge air system: the charge pressure escapes from the intake manifold.

This is where the PCV Fix comes into play.
It consists of a cap for the intake manifold and a cap plate for connecting the original PCV valve.
As a result, these boost pressure losses and the resulting loss of performance are permanently avoided.

In addition, an adapter for tapping the boost or vacuum pressure is included in the set.
This is suitable, for example, for a boost pressure indicator or for connecting a flap control of the exhaust system.

In addition, the PCV Fix is compatible with the original intake/engine cover as well as all intakes available on the market.

The PCV Fix is made of corrosion-resistant aluminium, then anodised black and supplied complete with O-rings and screws.

Description:
1.The crankcase ventilation (1) is connected to the valve cover (2), exactly where the standard valve (3) is installed. The PCV valve (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) has a connection (4) to the intake manifold (5).

This valve opens while vacuum.

At superatmospheric pressure it closes, so that no boost pressure can escape from the intake manifold.

This is precisely the problem. The membrane of the original part tends to tear. Thus escapes boost pressure from the intake manifold and it comes to the power loss.

To avoid this, it closes with the PCV-FIX set the connection on the valve cover (1) and to the intake manifold (2).
The crankcase breather gases are further fed via the suction circulation.
