The upgrade intake manifold for the Ford Focus Mk3 RS ensures maximum and optimal flow.
In addition, it offers enough reserves to help Stage 3 vehicles and vehicles with upgraded turbochargers to achieve additional performance.
Since the original intake manifold is restrictive and has flow-restrictive edges, it is not designed for performance, but even creates turbulence and back pressure.
In contrast, our upgrade intake manifold was enlarged to the maximum diameter of 76mm after the 3D scan.
As a result, the airflow of 236cfm on the original part could be improved to a whopping 334cfm and as a result over 40% by replacing it with our intake manifold.
The OEM look remains, as the original centre section with the RS logo is adopted and as a result is not noticeable when installed.
Our flow-optimised HF-Series intake manifold is perfectly suited for the Focus Mk3 RS, as we manufacture this manifold without any bottlenecks and as a result we can achieve 42% more air mass compared to the stock part due to the modified design.
Thanks to the latest flow animations and other computer simulations, this performance part was created from aluminium with a CNC flange and handmade outlets.
Only in this way can the air reach the turbocharger in an optimal and even flow pattern.
The results are higher maximum power and improved response.
Especially in the connection area to the turbocharger, a special cnc-milled cone is used. This creates an edge-free transition without the factory turbulence in this area.
