This intake kit replaces the standard air filter and the plastic intake snorkel.
Already during demounting, you will see that the plastic intake snorkel from the vehicle manufacturer fails restrictive.
The HFI-Intake system is made of carbon and has a non-oiled HF500 air filter by Pipercross as filter element. With an air flow of 503,1 cfm it offers enough potential to achieve perfect results at performance and turbocharger upgrades. The connection for the fresh air is the "racing intake hose", which can either be mounted in the wheelhouse, or on vehicles that do not have a xenon behind the bumper.

The additionally offered aluminum intake hose is only suitable for K04 loaders with 209 / 225HP and offers the perfect complement to achieve the maximum in performance.

Note: If your 1.8T 20V engine has a secondary air pump, please select the air filter for secondary air pump as a set variant.
You can tell whether your vehicle has a secondary air pump by the fact that there is a second outlet with an approx. 30 mm click connection on your original air filter box directly next to the mass air flow sensor.
