This HF-Series Real Carbon Intake Kit for the Golf 8 models with EA888 Gen.4 engines is the perfect solution for maximum air flow in combination with a perfect look and approval.
In addition, it gifts you with an intake sound in a class of its own.

It represents a very important component, because only if the entire path to the turbocharger is optimized the full potential of the turbocharger and engine can be made available.
The kit consists of a silicone upgrade intake hose with max. possible inner diameter (89mm/3.5" at the air filter) and a real carbon box with larger volume and significantly improved air flow compared to the oem intake.
This is also shown by our measurement at the Flowbench with an impressive increase of +58% resp. 70%.

Even for large turbocharger conversions, there is more than enough reserve available here. The filter element used is an oiled polymer foam filter specially developed by us for the system, which has an 89mm/3.5" connection.

Optionally, you can combine this Intake with our HF-Series Turboinlet, which then also eliminates the last reduction/narrowing point at the turbocharger inlet (only required for the 245 hp engines such as in the GTI, the 300/320 hp engines such as in the Clubsport or R have a different inlet due to the other turbocharger, which cannot be improved and already functions optimally, we have tested this extensively with 9 tests/prototypes at the Flowbench).

In order to make the look extra "clean" and not to have to insert an unnecessary bulge into the box, we have moved the water hose under the airbox.
Here we also use our SF-Hoses silicone. The hose is included in the delivery.
Our additionally available carbon engine cover is made with the fabric in exactly the same structure and alignment and transforms your engine compartment from a dull and boring ambience into a true carbon landscape.
