Attention: Only fits intercooler connections with an outer diameter of 70mm (HF-Series V3 oder Wagner intercooler).
Note:
Before ordering, please check whether the windscreen washer system reservoir is on the driver's side (filler neck next to the air filter box) or on the passenger side (in front of the coolant reservoir).
If the reservoir is fitted on the passenger side, select the additional holder from the vehicle-specific installation material.
The additional bracket, which you can purchase as an option, applies to the Golf Mk7 R/Clubsport and all Cupra Euro 6 models with manual transmission.

Back pressure is diverted directly before the throttle pipe. As our ventil sits right after the intercooler, only cold air is in circulation. On many engines the SUV is in front of the intercooler, so there is just hot air in circulation.
The OEM valve is installed directly in the turbocharger. Its purpose is to return excess boost pressure to the intake system during load changes in order to counteract turbocharger damage, as the turbocharger is slowed down by the closing of the throttle valve and the resulting back pressure.
Over time, the constant exposure to heat usually affects it to the point that it leaks.
A leaking valve leads to poorer response and loss of power, which is not usually noticed immediately because the damage occurs gradually and not suddenly. As a result, the driver unconsciously becomes accustomed to a worsening response and loss of power. Furthermore, hot charge air is constantly diverted.
With the use of this conversion kit, the valve can be relocated to a cooler region to obtain the following benefits:
1. Improved throttle response, as the pressure is diverted immediately before the throttle valve.
2. Instead of hot, uncooled charge air, only cold air is returned to the system. As a result, the turbocharger has to deliver less air. 3.
3. Thanks to the offset, the valve is no longer subjected to the severe thermal stress caused by use in the turbocharger.
4. The cooler the intake air, the higher the density, and the higher the density, the better the cylinder filling. This also allows for higher low-end power.
