The downpipe is significantly involved in the points of passage and performance. It is the "link" between the turbocharger and the exhaust system.
The larger the pipe diameter and the higher the passage of the pipe, the easier the turbocharger can discharge the processed exhaust gases through the exhaust system. This has a positive effect on the torque, the power and the existing soundscape!
(especially in connection with a modified exhaust system)

At the downpipe top a lambda probe connection is available.

Attention:
1. An adaptation of the motor control is absolutely necessary after assembly!
2. For model year 2004/2005 there are some 2,7 / 3,0 TDI models are equipped from the factory without DPF and have instead built 2 Oxikats. In these models, the DPF replacement pipe does not fit.
